MY BIKESMY BIKES
This is my first bike. It is an
YAMAHA XS 650 SPESIAL US COSTOM from the year of 1981. I bought it in 1992 so it was already 11 years old. The gay I bought it from cheated me, and I am sure he new it. Here on the picture am I on my way to the northern part of Norway. On this trip was this bike using more -almost- oil than gas.All together I lost a lot of money on my dear XS. After I repaired the gearbox and got the new piston(?) in the cylinders was it going really well. So even if it gave me a lot of grief I really falled in love in my XS. But in spite of my love I sold it in 1994 to a new owner that has treated her very nice.
Here's my second bike, it is a
HONDA CB 1100 F SUPER BOLD'OR from the year of 1983. I bought it in the fall of 1994. My second failor when it comes to buy bikes. This one was also using a lot of oil so I sold it after one year -1995- without trying to repair it. BUT, I told the new owner that he had to keep a close eye on the oil. I didn't got the big emotion about this bike. But it took me on my first trip down Europe, all the way to Cortina, Italy and back home.
And then, my dream-machine, that I bought in 1995.
It is an
YAMAHA VENTURE XVZ 12 TD model 1987.It has in this two years given my a lot of great days on the road, on the local roads around Stavanger and around in Norway as well as down and around the the many roads in Europe.
